About Us
Beginning as a shelter gathering for Korean single mothers in New York in 2011, we have now grown into a community that embraces single mothers, single fathers, and all caregiver families.
The foundation is currently home to 42 families with children aged 1 to 17. Most of our members are our precious neighbors who are fighting hard in the welfare blind spots of the immigrant society, facing unstable immigration status, minimum wage labor, and emotional isolation.
Moving beyond simply being “recipients” of goods or donations, we aim to be an exemplary cycle of value where parents establish their own self-reliance plans, and the children grow up to contribute back to society.

Taking a step up from a temporary community format, we are establishing transparent accounting, administration, and formal operating systems under the leadership of Director Genie Ryoo.
Strengthening Community Partnerships
We efficiently connect resources within the New York Korean community and support practical self-reliance through cooperation with various professional networks.
